Welcome to The Buckeye and The Frog in Oberlin
The Buckeye and The Frog is an outstanding Bed & Breakfast Inn situated just a short walk from Oberlin College
and the beautiful Lorain County countryside.
"Peaceful" is the word most often used by our guests to describe their stay at The Buckeye and the Frog. Its location on quiet and lovely Elm Street assures a restful haven from whatever brings you to the area.
Most likely that is Oberlin College and the Oberlin Conservatory; if so, you will be happy to know that we are only half a block from the OC campus. Walking time to downtown Oberlin is approximately five minutes, if you walk slowly, and we are only three blocks from the beautiful arboretum with its reservoirs, the meandering Plum Creek, and walking paths.
For the business traveler or the working vacationer, we offer free WIFI throughout the house and on the comfortable outside porches, as well as access to printers for free printing of documents and boarding passes.
Your hosts, Janet and Dominique Michal and their Aussie Sunny, live in the home and are there to assure that you have everything you need to make your visit a relaxing
and memorable one. Janet grew up in Oberlin and graduated from Oberlin College, and Dominique has come to know the area well.
Both of us are happy and prepared to share information about Oberlin businesses, events, and points of interest.
Thank you for visiting our website and taking time to explore The Buckeye and The Frog.
